Who ordered the small Christmas Pudding….? (The AOCC Christmas Ride Out)

Four riders met up for the AOCC Christmas Dinner ride, it was wet and cold but the conversation made the ride enjoyable and we soon warmed up (special thanks goes to Kim “Watts” Threadgall Spence for the free training consultancy).

The decision was made to miss out the traditional freewheel competition and to get to the pub as quickly as possible. Steve and Chris were the most disappointed as both had been bulking up for the win.

We had thirteen for the Christmas dinner at the Shoulder of Mutton, the food was good as always, although Nathan couldn’t hide his disappointment when he was told by the waiter he had ordered the small Christmas pudding (much to the pub owners embarrassment as this was the standard portion size).

After an enjoyable meal it was time to head home and three riders set off in the rain to head back to Leeds. We managed to get back in the daylight so it was another successful day out. Thanks to Chris for organising.
