Just a short club ride today to Lotherton Hall, enjoyed by a combined AIR + SRAN group.

Patches of ice on the higher ground and back roads meant we avoided the Eccup reservoir road and headed direct to Shadwell and then followed the route around the ELOR cycle path, via Barwick and Aberford to Lotherton Hall.

Ahead of the crowds, we had a quick coffee stop at the Stables Cafe, before heading on past the Towton Battlefield, and past Tadcaster before turning for home.  A bit of push into the wind through Bramham and Scarcroft and then home for about 50 miles, 3,000 ft climbing and a 15 mph average.
