A Ride of many parts (but no photos)

6 left a cold Rawdon on Saturday morningheading for Skipton, should have been 8 but Nick & Jonathan being delayed due to a mechanical before setting off !! messaging to say they would meet us en route.

A cold and breezy route through Ilkley, up over Cocking Lane climb, which warmed us all up, then via Cringles to Bradley, then the Coffee House at Skipton.

Dominic & Kim electing not to stop and carry on as part of their training for their respective up coming events.

Not long after sitting down Nick & Jonathan arrived to complete the group.

After excellent coffee and bacon sandwiches the return back via Embsay and Bolton Abbey had a reduced group when Ian decided to do the Eastby Brow climb, with no other takers he set off solo while the rest headed for Bolton Abbey.

Tom pressed on home from there while the rest of us waited for Ian.

A message came from Ian telling us not to wait as he was at the top of Eastby in very windy conditions. Eventually, Ian catching up with Alan, Dave, Nick & Jonathan at Guiseley we all carried on home, still in the dry.

A good morning out and 46 miles & 3200 ft of elevation for me.

Cheers

Alan
