There were 3 at Rawdon for the ride to Cawood, myself, Dave L and Jimmi, we met Chris at The Dexter and headed for Barwick in Elmett to meet Jonathan. Dave turned off at Shadwell to do a shorter loop as still not back to full fitness. After picking up Jonathan at Barwick we headed for Cawood towed along at a reasonable pace by Jimmi, even though he was sporting a hangover  !!

After a slight route faux pass we arrived at the village garden centre cafe, while having an unusually long wait for our food the conversation ranged from the politics and living in Saudi Arabia to the delights or not of cycling in Devon & Cornwall.

Heading back Jimmi had to be back earlier so pulled away at Ullerskelf, Jonathan turning off before Tadcaster to head for home leaving me and Chris to head back together, Chris regaling me with the story of travelling on Indian railways while suffering  Dysentery !! The conversations we have !!

All in all 60 miles and 3120ft for me.
