Carry on running!

Doing our best impression of pack of highlighter pens

A poor weather forecast and some indecisive riders resulted in a late decision to do a short ride to the Prologue Cafe in Harrogate. Unsurprisingly, Ian was keen at the first mention of visiting a bike shop.

Hamish made a surprise appearance at Rawdon but forgot his bike (he was on a run – Airedale Olympic Striders anyone?!).

The weather was better than forecasted and we managed to get round without any rain. We even managed to get a glimpse of the sun, as we made our way back through Guiseley.

Prologue was quiet and the food was good. Ian had a good look at the bikes whilst the rest of us spent the time looking shocked at the price tags.

This was the better photo!

It was an enjoyable ride with good food and chat, made all the better by not getting wet. By the time I got home I had done 42 miles, with 3000 feet of climbing, and my average speed was 13mph.

Hopefully see some more faces next week.

Cheers, Steve
