04/11/2023 – I got hills they’re multiplying…

Six riders set out from Rawdon on a cold, damp and misty Saturday morning, destination Trawden.

Planned distance was 50 miles with 5200 ft of climbing, I did 52 miles and over 6000 ft of climbing. We had one puncture but with Nathan doing his best impression of a formula 1 pit stop crew we were back on the road in no time.

Cafe was good, weather less so, although we did avoid any heavy rain. Thanks to the back marker gang for making the hills slightly less painful (you know who you are).

Hopefully we will get the chance to go back and do the last 2 remaining hills in Yorkshire next week!

Steve
