11/11/2023 – Jackie Wilson said (I’m in Knaresborough when you smile)

Eight riders were out this week, Hamish and Nathan were up the road leaving six AIR riders to make their way to Knaresborough in the late autumn sunshine.

A suggestion was made that we should have a minutes silence at 11am for Armistice Day and as luck would have it we passed a war memorial in Killinghall at 10.57am. We stopped to pay our respects before riding onto Knaresborough.

This weeks cafe stop was at The Black Mulberry where everyone was particularly pleased with the free biscuits (custard cream), bacon butties and dental work.

The ride back seemed fairly brisk (possibly a tailwind) and before we knew it we were back in Rawdon.

Thanks to everyone who came out, another great ride made all the more enjoyable by the company and the great weather.

Steve
